Annapurna Fish Feed Industry Appoints Laxmi Sunrise Capital as IPO Issue Manager

Nepal’s leading agro-processing company Annapurna Fish Feed Industry Limited has appointed Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited as the issue and sales manager for its upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO).

The appointment marks a key step in the company’s move toward public listing and is closely aligned with its long-term industrial expansion strategy. With this partnership, Laxmi Sunrise Capital will guide Annapurna Fish Feed Industry through the IPO process and support its entry into Nepal’s capital market.

The appointment was formalized following the signing of an agreement between Yash Puri, Chief Executive Officer of Annapurna Fish Feed Industry, and Vijaylal Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Laxmi Sunrise Capital.

The decision to issue an IPO was approved by the company’s first Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in December 2025. Under the proposed plan, the company will issue 10,095,310 ordinary shares to the public.

Annapurna Fish Feed Industry operates its production facility in Khairahani, where it manufactures fish feed under the popular “Matsya Rose” brand. The company currently has an annual production capacity of 33,500 metric tons, making it one of the major contributors to Nepal’s aquaculture supply chain.

According to the company, funds raised through the IPO will be utilized for business expansion, import substitution, capacity enhancement, and strengthening domestic production in the agriculture and aquaculture sectors. The investment is expected to support Nepal’s goal of increasing self-reliance in fish feed production while boosting productivity in the fisheries sector.

Market participants view the upcoming IPO as a positive development for Nepal’s capital market, as it increases the participation of agriculture-based and processing industries, offering investors greater sectoral diversification and long-term growth opportunities.
