Gold and Silver Prices Rise on Wednesday

Kathmandu — Prices of gold and silver increased in the domestic market on Wednesday, according to local traders.

The price of gold rose sharply by Rs10,400 per tola, bringing the price of one tola of gold to Rs295,200. On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs284,700 per tola.

Silver prices also edged up. The price of silver increased by Rs40 per tola to reach Rs5,920 per tola.

Traders attribute the rise in precious metal prices to fluctuations in the international market, movements in the US dollar, and ongoing global economic uncertainty, which have continued to influence local bullion prices.
