Himalayan Microfinance Financial Institution has published its financial report for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. According to the published report, the company's net profit has decreased compared to the previous year.

Decline in Net Profit: By the end of Ashad (mid-July) of the last fiscal year, the company earned a net profit of NPR 7.5 million, which is a 24.81% decrease compared to the same period in the previous year. Last fiscal year, the company had recorded a net profit of NPR 10.1 million.

Operating Profit and Impairment Charges: The company's operating profit decreased by 17.22%, reaching NPR 10.8 million. Impairment charges increased from NPR 17 million in the previous year to NPR 26.1 million in the current fiscal year, contributing to the decline in operating profit.

Net Interest and Commission Income: During the review period, the company's net interest income increased by 14.22%, while net fee and commission income decreased by 33.47%.

Loans and Deposits: The company's non-performing loans (NPL) increased by 1.28%, reaching 3.65%. The company collected more than NPR 904.2 million in deposits and disbursed loans worth more than NPR 3.76 billion.
