Nepal Rastra Bank to Collect NPR 20 Billion in Deposits Today

Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank is set to collect NPR 20 billion in deposits from banks and financial institutions through a bidding process today at 3 PM. The central bank will withdraw the amount for a period of 63 days as part of its liquidity management measures. Commercial banks, development banks, and finance companies are eligible to participate in the bidding. Participating institutions must submit interest rate proposals and are allowed to place multiple bids. Priority will be given to institutions offering the lowest interest rates.
