Kathmandu, May 29 – The Government of Nepal has announced a total budget of NPR 1.964 trillion for the fiscal year 2082/83, marking an increase of NPR 104.11 billion compared to the previous year’s budget of NPR 1.86 trillion.

Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel presented the budget during a joint session of the Federal Parliament, highlighting priorities in social security, infrastructure, agriculture, education, health, job creation, and information technology.
