SEBON Approves Right Shares, Preference Shares, and Debentures for Four Companies in a Single Day

The Securities Board of Nepal (Securities Board of Nepal) has granted approval to four different companies in a single day to issue right shares, preference shares, debentures, and a mutual fund scheme. The approvals were issued on Wednesday, Magh 21.

The board has approved Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower to issue right shares in a 1:1 ratio. The company will issue 4 million units of right shares at a face value of NPR 100 per share.

Similarly, Sanima Bank has received approval to issue “8.25% Sanima Irredeemable Cumulative Preference Shares.” The bank will issue 20 million shares worth NPR 2 billion through private placement, offering investors an annual dividend of 8.25%.

Meanwhile, ICFC Finance has been authorized to issue “8% ICFC Finance Debenture 2089.” The seven-year debenture will provide an annual interest rate of 8%. The company will issue 500,000 units with a face value of NPR 1,000 each.

Likewise, Garima Capital has received approval to operate an open-ended mutual fund scheme named “Garima Suvarna Yojana.” The scheme consists of 100 million units at NPR 10 each, totaling NPR 1 billion, with Garima Capital itself serving as the fund manager and distributor.
