Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited Closes 1:1 Right Share Issue Today

Kathmandu — Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL) is officially closing its 1:1 right share issuance today (23rd Ashwin, 2082). The issue was originally scheduled to close on 8th Ashwin after opening on 19th Bhadra, but the company extended the deadline, with today being the final day for applications.

The company is issuing a total of 14,764,000 units of right shares at a 1:1 ratio to its existing shareholders, amounting to Rs. 1.47 Arba (Rs. 1.47 billion) in total.

Currently, the company’s paid-up capital stands at Rs. 1.47 Arba. After the adjustment of the right shares, the capital will rise to Rs. 2.95 Arba, effectively doubling the company’s equity base.

According to the Central Depository and Clearing Limited (CDSC), a total of 22,996 applicants have applied for 9,566,718 units of right shares, equivalent to Rs. 95.66 crores.

Citizens Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the right share issuance.

The book closure date was set for 16th Shrawan, 2082. Therefore, only those shareholders who held shares before that date were eligible to apply for the rights offering.
