Gold and Silver Prices Decline in Nepali Market After Recent Surge

On Thursday 19 June, 2025,  the prices of gold and silver fell in the Nepali market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold decreased by NPR 400 per tola, now trading at NPR 195,500 per tola. On Wednesday, it was priced at NPR 195,900 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver dropped by NPR 25 per tola and is currently being traded at NPR 2,200 per tola. Just a day earlier, silver had reached a record high of NPR 2,225 per tola. The decline in both metals comes after consecutive days of price hikes, particularly for silver.
