Gold and Silver Prices Hit New Records Again

On Wednesday, Poush 9, the prices of gold and silver in the Nepali market reached new record highs once again. On the day, gold increased by Rs. 900 per tola, while silver rose sharply by Rs. 165 per tola, marking a fresh historic peak for both precious metals.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs. 268,100 per tola on Wednesday, which is the highest price recorded so far. Previously, gold had set a record on Tuesday by trading at Rs. 267,200 per tola. Breaking that record, gold climbed further on Wednesday, continuing its upward trend with daily new highs in recent days.
Similarly, silver prices also hit a new record on Wednesday. Silver rose by Rs. 165 per tola and is currently being traded at Rs. 4,420 per tola. On Tuesday, silver was traded at Rs. 4,255 per tola. Surpassing that level, silver reached its highest-ever price in the domestic market on Wednesday.
