Pravesh Bikram Thapa Appointed as CEO of HIDCL for Four-Year Term

The Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Ltd. (HIDCL), a government-owned financial institution, has officially appointed Mr. Pravesh Bikram Thapa as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As per the decision made during the 217th meeting of the Board of Directors held on 2082/02/15 (Bikram Sambat), Thapa will assume office from 2082/02/16 for a tenure of four years. The appointment has been formally communicated to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) through an official notice issued on 2082/02/16, signed by Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ramesh Paneru. This leadership transition is expected to contribute to the strategic growth and development goals of the company in Nepal's hydropower sector.
