Beni Hydropower IPO Allotment Completed; 104,000 Shares Distributed to Nepalis Working Abroad

Kathmandu. Beni Hydropower Project Limited has completed the allotment of its Initial Public Offering (IPO) shares issued to Nepali citizens working abroad. According to the company, the allotment was finalized on Chaitra 15, 2082 (Nepali calendar).The company had allocated 10% of its issued capital of NPR 1.04 billion—equivalent to NPR 104 million or 1.04 million shares—for the general public. Out of this, 104,000 units of shares were specifically reserved for Nepalis working abroad.The IPO application window for foreign-employed Nepalis was open from Chaitra 1 to Chaitra 5, 2082. Among the valid applicants, a total of 10,400 individuals were allotted 104,000 shares as per prevailing regulations.The company stated that the detailed results of the allotment can be viewed through the official websites of the issue manager, NMB Capital Limited, and CDS and Clearing Limited.Beni Hydropower Project Limited has expressed its gratitude to all investors, C-ASBA member banks and financial institutions, and concerned regulatory bodies for their support throughout the issuance process.The company aims to expand its investment in the hydropower sector and contribute to the country’s economic development through sustainable energy production.
