Gold and Silver Prices Increase in Domestic Market

On Thursday, Falgun 14, prices of both gold and silver increased in the domestic market of Nepal. The upward movement in the international bullion market has reflected in local prices as well, pushing precious metals higher.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold increased by Rs 600 per tola, reaching Rs 315,400 on Thursday. On the previous trading day, Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 314,800 per tola.
Similarly, silver prices also witnessed a modest rise. The price of silver increased by Rs 10 per tola and is currently being traded at Rs 5,725. On Wednesday, silver was traded at Rs 5,715 per tola.
With continued price fluctuations, investor interest in precious metals appears to be strengthening. Market analysts suggest that international trends and exchange rate movements may continue to influence domestic bullion prices in the coming days.
