Gold and Silver Prices Rise on Chaitra 17

On Tuesday (Chaitra 17), gold and silver prices in the Nepali market increased significantly. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of hallmark gold rose by Rs. 6,700 per tola to reach Rs. 290,200, compared to Rs. 283,500 on Monday. Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs. 145 per tola and is being traded at Rs. 4,845, which was Rs. 4,700 in the previous trading day.
