Gold Price Surges Past Rs. 328,000 per Tola While Silver Prices Decline

On Tuesday, Falgun 19, gold prices in the Nepali market surged significantly, crossing Rs. 328,000 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold was fixed at Rs. 328,600 per tola on the day. The price increased by Rs. 2,500 compared to Monday, when gold was traded at Rs. 326,100 per tola. Traders attribute the rise in gold prices to the influence of international markets and increasing demand.

Meanwhile, silver prices declined in the domestic market. The association reported that silver dropped by Rs. 205 per tola to Rs. 5,815 on Tuesday, compared to Rs. 6,020 per tola recorded on Monday. While gold prices moved upward, silver witnessed a noticeable decline.
