Gold Prices Rise, Silver Declines in Nepali Market

Gold prices increased in the Nepali market on Tuesday, Magh 27, while silver prices recorded a slight decline. On this day, the price of gold rose by NPR 900 per tola, whereas silver dropped by NPR 10 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold was traded at NPR 305,500 per tola on Tuesday. On Monday, gold was priced at NPR 304,600 per tola. The rise in gold prices is mainly attributed to fluctuations in the international market and changes in domestic demand.
Meanwhile, silver prices declined slightly. On Tuesday, silver was traded at NPR 5,240 per tola, compared to NPR 5,250 per tola on the previous day. Market analysts state that reduced demand and global price movements have influenced the decrease in silver prices.
