Anti-Corruption Act 2059 Amendment Bill Passed by Parliamentary Committee

The amendment bill to revise the Anti-Corruption Act 2059 has been passed by a parliamentary committee. The State Affairs and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives approved the amendment bill, including the report prepared by a subcommittee, during its meeting on Thursday.
Earlier, a subcommittee was formed under the coordination of Nepali Congress MP Hridayaram Thani to review the bill. The subcommittee submitted its report to the committee, which was unanimously approved during the meeting.
The amendment to the Anti-Corruption Act is expected to enhance governance, transparency, and efforts to control corruption in the country.
