Drop in Gold and Silver Prices in the Local Market

The prices of both gold and silver have declined in Nepal’s precious metals market today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, hallmark gold, which was traded at NPR 165,000 per tola on Monday, is now being bought and sold at NPR 162,600 per tola, marking a drop of NPR 2,400 in the price of gold.

Similarly, silver prices have also decreased by NPR 30 per tola. Silver, which was traded at NPR 1,955 per tola on Monday, is now being bought and sold at NPR 1,925 per tola.

This drop in prices has created some disappointment among local investors in gold and silver. According to traders, the decrease is believed to be influenced by fluctuations in the international market and a reduced demand.
