FNCCI Inspects Damaged Private Properties During Protests

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has conducted an on-site inspection of private properties damaged during the protests on Bhadra 23 and 24.
A team led by FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal visited Hotel Hilton, Kantipur Media Group, Golchha Group, Bhatbhateni Supermarket, and businessman Upendra Mahato’s properties to assess the extent of the damage.
After the inspection, President Dhakal stressed that creating an environment where private investments remain secure should be a top priority. He urged the government to take strict action against those responsible and provide fair compensation to the victims. Dhakal warned that such incidents could negatively affect the overall business environment and called for strong peace and security measures.
The inspection team included former FNCCI President Shekhar Golchha, Senior Vice President Anjan Shrestha, Vice Presidents Surkrishna Vaidya, Hemraj Dhakal, Jyotsna Shrestha, and Treasurer Bharat Raj Acharya, among others.
