Gold Hits Rs. 212,000, Silver Reaches Rs. 2,500 — New Record in Nepal

On Sunday, September 7, the price of gold and silver in the Nepali market reached another record high. Continuing its upward trend from the past week, gold hit a fresh peak today. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold was traded at Rs. 212,000 per tola, the highest rate ever recorded. Compared to last Friday, the price increased by Rs. 1,600 per tola, as gold was then traded at Rs. 210,400 per tola.
Similarly, silver also set a new record. Rising by Rs. 10 from last Friday’s rate of Rs. 2,490 per tola, it is now being traded at Rs. 2,500 per tola.
