According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold increased by NPR 100 per tola on Sunday. On Friday, gold was traded at NPR 189,600 per tola, which rose to NPR 189,700 per tola on Sunday, as reported by the Federation. Meanwhile, the World Gold Council stated that gold is being traded at around USD 3,300 per ounce in the international market.
On the other hand, the price of silver has declined. Silver, which was traded at NPR 2,000 per tola on Friday, dropped to NPR 1,990 per tola on Sunday. While gold prices have seen a slight rise, the fall in silver prices is seen as a minor relief for consumers.
