Gold Prices Soar to Record High in Nepali Market, Silver Sees Marginal Rise

Kathmandu, April 17, 2025. Gold prices in the Nepali market have reached an all-time high, breaking the previous record set on Wednesday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmarked gold surged to NPR 190,600 per tola on Thursday, marking an increase of NPR 3,600 per tola from Wednesday’s rate of NPR 187,000 per tola.

Similarly, silver prices saw a slight uptick. Silver, which was traded at NPR 1,955 per tola on Wednesday, rose by NPR 5 to NPR 1,960 per tola on Thursday.
