IPO issue of 18 companies stopped

The initial share issue (IPO) issue process has been stopped for 10 months.
The process of issuing shares, which has been stopped since Ramesh Hamal became the chairman of the Nepal Securities Board, has been stopped until now because a new chairman has not been appointed. The share issuance process of 18 companies that have sought permission for IPO has been stopped.
IPOs of 29 hydropower companies were launched in the last financial year. But in the current financial year, no IPO has been issued by any other hydropower company except Vision Lumbini Energy Company.
There is a provision to get permission to issue IPO after 60% completion of hydropower projects.
