Microsoft has overtaken Apple to become the world's most valuable company

Microsoft Corporation has surpassed Apple Inc. to become the world's most valuable company.

According to Companies Market Cap, Microsoft's market capitalization reached $3.33 trillion, while Apple's is $3.32 trillion. Nvidia Corporation holds the third position with a market capitalization of $3.22 trillion.

Apple's drop to the second position is due to supply chain disruptions and a decline in its share price. In contrast, Microsoft's revenue has increased significantly from its Office, Windows, and cloud products.

On Tuesday, Microsoft's share price rose by 1.31% to $448.37, while Apple's share price increased by 1.97% to $216.67. Nvidia's share price fell by 0.68% to $130.98.

This is not the first time Microsoft has overtaken Apple; it previously held the top position in 2018 and 2020. Apple has long maintained a leading position in the global market and became the first American company to reach a $1 trillion market value in 2018.
