Kathmandu, April 10, 2025 (Chaitra 28, 2081) — Pure Energy Limited, a leading company in Nepal's renewable energy sector, has opened its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public starting today. The company is issuing a total of 1,195,200 ordinary shares for public subscription.

According to the company, the deadline to apply is Baisakh 2, 2082 (April 14, 2025). Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and up to a maximum of 100,000 shares.

Earlier, the company had already issued shares to project-affected local residents and Nepalis working abroad. This current phase is targeted at the general public.

Pure Energy has a total paid-up capital of NPR 800 million, out of which 80% is held by the founding shareholders, and the remaining 20% is now being issued to the public. The company operates under the Golyan Group and is currently running two solar power projects, each with a 10 MW capacity, located in Banke district. Both projects have been commercially operational since 2080 BS (2023/24 AD).

With a total production capacity of 20 MW, Pure Energy has become Nepal’s largest solar energy producer. The IPO is expected to provide the general public with an opportunity to invest in the renewable energy sector and contribute to the company's future growth and expansion.
