Shiv Shree Hydropower Opens 100% Rights Issue from Today

Shiv Shree Hydropower Company Limited (SSHL) has opened its 100% rights issue from today (September 4, 2025 / Bhadra 19, 2082). The company is issuing 14.76 million rights shares at a face value of NPR 100 each, in the ratio of 1:1 to its existing shareholders. The total issue amounts to NPR 1.47 billion.
For this purpose, the company had closed its books on Shrawan 16, meaning shareholders holding shares until Shrawan 15 are eligible to apply. Applications for the rights shares can be submitted until Ashwin 8, 2082.
Infomerics Credit Rating Nepal has assigned the company an issuer rating of “IRN Single B Minus,” indicating high risk regarding the company’s capacity to meet financial obligations on time. Citizens Capital Limited is managing the issue. Investors can apply through Citizens Capital’s office, selected branches of Citizens Bank International, banks and financial institutions providing C-ASBA services, or online via CDS and Clearing Limited’s “Mero Share” platform.
Currently, the company’s paid-up capital stands at NPR 1.47 billion, which will double to NPR 2.95 billion after the allotment of the rights issue. The proceeds from the rights issue will primarily be used to repay bank loans.
