Swabhiman Laghubitta Declares 10 Percent Dividend for Shareholders

Swabhiman Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) has announced dividend distribution to its shareholders from the profit earned in the last fiscal year. The microfinance company has proposed a total dividend of 10 percent, including 9.5 percent bonus shares and 0.5 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The decision was made during the board of directors’ meeting held on Friday, Falgun 15. The proposed dividend will be distributed to shareholders only after receiving approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement from the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
