Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Opens 1:1 Rights Shares Issue from Today; Applications Open Until Baisakh 13

Kathmandu — Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited has opened its 100% rights share issue for existing shareholders starting today. The application window will remain open from Chaitra 22 to Baisakh 13, 2083.The company is issuing 40 lakh units of rights shares in a 1:1 ratio, equivalent to its current paid-up capital of Rs. 40 Crores. Following the issuance, the company’s paid-up capital will double from Rs. 40 Crores to Rs. 80 Crores.For eligibility, the company had set the book closure date on Falgun 1, 2082. Only shareholders who held shares before that date are entitled to apply for the rights shares.The issue manager for the rights offering is NIC Asia Capital Limited. The company aims to strengthen its financial base and support expansion in its hydropower projects through this rights issue.
