Everest Bank’s Dividend Record Date: Today Is the Last Day to Secure Eligibility

Kathmandu — Today (October 9) is the last trading day for investors to be eligible for Everest Bank Limited’s proposed dividend from the fiscal year 2081/82. The bank has announced a book closure on Ashoj 24 (October 10) for the purpose of dividend distribution and its upcoming annual general meeting (AGM). Therefore, only those shareholders whose names are recorded in NEPSE by the end of today’s trading session will be eligible to receive the dividend and attend the AGM.
Everest Bank has proposed a total 20% dividend, comprising 6% bonus shares and 14% cash dividend (including tax on bonus shares) from its accumulated profits of the last fiscal year. The distribution will take place after approval from the upcoming AGM.
The bank has scheduled its 31st Annual General Meeting for Kartik 12 (October 28) at Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu. The meeting will approve the proposed dividend, amend the bank’s Memorandum and Articles of Association, appoint auditors, and discuss other important agendas.
Investors have viewed the proposed 20% payout as a sign of stable performance and consistent dividend policy from Everest Bank in recent years.
