Grinedi Energy Limited Appoints Prabhu Capital as Issue and Sales Manager for IPO

Kathmandu — Grinedi Energy Limited has officially appointed Prabhu Capital Limited as the Issue and Sales Manager to proceed with its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for local residents and the general public. The agreement was signed on Monday, 1st Mangsir 2082.

The agreement was signed by Grinedi Energy Limited’s Chairman, Ureshman Kayastha, and Prabhu Capital Limited’s Managing Director, Ashish Gauchan.

The company plans to issue 30 percent of its issued capital as ordinary shares to the project-affected local residents and the general public. Grinedi Energy has successfully completed the construction of the Idi Khola Hydropower Project located in Kaski district and has been generating commercial electricity since 2082/01/08.

The company has the involvement of experienced professionals from the banking, hydropower, insurance, and capital market sectors. The Idi Khola project has been constructed under the hydrology design of Q-65.

Chairman Ureshman Kayastha also stated that the company aims to expand its investments in other hydropower projects as well as in solar and green energy projects in the future.
