Finance Minister Poudel Urges Malaysian Investors to Invest in Nepal’s Infrastructure and Tourism

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has urged Malaysian investors to invest in Nepal’s physical infrastructure and tourism sectors.
During a meeting with the visiting delegation from the Malaysia–Nepal Business Council, Minister Poudel highlighted the strong potential in Nepal’s infrastructure development and tourism and invited the investors to explore opportunities.
“Nepal offers a favorable environment for private sector investment. Our policies are investor-friendly. Identify promising sectors and proceed with proper preparation — the government is ready to support and facilitate your efforts,” Poudel stated.
Members of the delegation expressed interest in investing in areas such as information technology, hydropower, infrastructure, environment, trade, and tourism. The delegation included Malaysia–Nepal Business Council President Pradeep Kumar Kukreja, Dr. Chai Kee Khan, Ganesh Kumar Vanagah, MK Sangrah, and others.
