Foreign Exchange Rate Today: Increase in US Dollar Value
Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today (Friday). The value of the US dollar has increased compared to the previous day, with the buying rate set at NPR 139.83 and the selling rate at NPR 140.43. The buying rate for the European Euro is NPR 144.96, while the selling rate is NPR 145.58. Similarly, the buying rate for the UK Pound Sterling is NPR 173.78, and the selling rate is NPR 174.53. The Australian Dollar is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 87.64 and a selling rate of NPR 88.01, while the Canadian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 97.44 and a selling rate of NPR 97.86. The Japanese Yen (for 10 units) is set at a buying rate of NPR 9.17 and a selling rate of NPR 9.21.
Among Middle Eastern currencies, the buying rate for the Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 37.28, while the selling rate is NPR 37.44. The Qatari Riyal is traded at NPR 38.35 for buying and NPR 38.23 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 453.12 and a selling rate of NPR 455.06. The exchange rate for INR 100 is NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the exchange rates may be revised as needed, and commercial banks may adopt different rates.
