Gold and Silver Prices Continue to Surge in the Nepali Market

On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, the prices of gold and silver in the Nepali market continued their strong upward trend. Gold surged by NPR 3,100 per tola in a single day to reach NPR 268,100 per tola, while silver rose by NPR 195 per tola to trade at NPR 4,880 per tola. Over the past two days, both precious metals have recorded consistent gains. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations gold was traded at NPR 265,000 per tola and silver at NPR 4,685 per tola on Monday.
