Gold Prices Rise as Silver Hits a New Record High

Gold and silver prices increased in the Nepali market on Thursday, Poush 3. The price of gold rose by Rs 700 per tola, while silver increased by Rs 25 per tola, continuing its record-breaking trend. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold was traded at Rs 260,400 per tola on Thursday, compared to Rs 259,700 per tola on Wednesday. Similarly, silver was traded at Rs 4,080 per tola, which is the highest price recorded so far. On Wednesday, silver was traded at Rs 4,055 per tola. Silver prices have been consistently hitting new records over the past few days.
