Pure Energy Earns NPR 31.9 Million Profit, Announces AGM on Bhadra 24

Pure Energy Limited (PURE) has published its financial report for the fourth quarter of FY 2081/82, posting a net profit of NPR 31.979 million. The company had recorded a net loss of NPR 17.5 million in the same period last year. The profit growth was driven by a 19.23% rise in electricity sales revenue to NPR 259.2 million, along with NPR 15.1 million in other income. Following its recent IPO, the company’s paid-up capital has reached NPR 800 million. During the review period, earnings per share (EPS) stood at NPR 4.70, while net worth per share was NPR 100.48. A subsidiary of the Golyan Group, Pure Energy operates two 10-MW solar plants in Banke, both in commercial production since 2080, making it the largest solar energy producer in Nepal with a total capacity of 20 MW. The company has scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Bhadra 24, where it will discuss and approve the annual report, financial statements, appointment and remuneration of auditors, and election of the board of directors. For AGM purposes, the company will close its shareholder registry on Bhadra 9.
