The Nepali gold market witnessed a notable surge on Sunday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has increased by NPR 1,100 per tola, reaching NPR 192,900. On the previous trading day (Saturday), the price stood at NPR 191,800 per tola. This jump has once again pushed gold prices to a higher level in the domestic market.
Similarly, the price of silver has also risen by NPR 65 per tola. On Sunday, silver is being traded at NPR 2,285 per tola, up from NPR 2,220 the previous day. The rise in both gold and silver prices is believed to be influenced by fluctuations in the international metal market.
