Kathmandu — Siddhartha Bank Limited has announced that it has successfully credited bonus shares to its shareholders’ beneficiary (Demat) accounts. The distribution follows the resolution passed during the bank’s 24th Annual General Meeting, which approved a 5 percent bonus share issuance.According to the bank, shareholders who held their shares in dematerialized (Demat) form at the time of the book closure have already received their bonus shares in their respective accounts from Chaitra 9, 2082.However, shareholders still holding physical share certificates will not receive the bonus shares automatically. The bank has clarified that such shares will only be credited after the physical certificates are converted into Demat form. Investors are therefore urged to dematerialize their shares as soon as possible to facilitate the process. The bank also stated that the share registrar responsibilities are being handled by Siddhartha Capital Limited. This move is expected to streamline share management and encourage investors to adopt the Demat system for faster and more efficient transactions.
