Lumbini Development Bank Wins Five Titles at the Emerging Asia Banking Awards 2024

Lumbini Development Bank has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning titles in five categories at the second Emerging Asia Banking Awards 2024, organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce. The bank participated in five categories and secured victories in all.

During the Banking Conclave 2024 held in New Delhi, India, the bank was honored with the following awards:

• Best Bank

• Best Performance in Risk Management, Nepal

• Best Performance in Asset Management, Nepal

• Best Performance in Profitability, Nepal (Runner-up)

• Best Performance in Growth, Nepal (Runner-up)

This prestigious event saw participation from banks across BIMSTEC nations, including India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Myanmar. The Indian Chamber of Commerce has been organizing these awards since last year, based on various criteria set by its Economic Affairs and Policy Department.

Lumbini Development Bank, known for its ethical banking practices and commitment to economic governance and transparency, has continued to receive both national and international accolades. These achievements have enhanced the bank's reputation and prestige significantly.

With a paid-up capital of NPR 3.5 billion, Lumbini Development Bank operates across all seven provinces in Nepal with 89 branches, one extension counter, and 20 ATMs. This success is attributed to the combined efforts of the bank's directors, staff, customers, and regulatory bodies.
