Yambaling Hydropower Allots IPO Shares to Foreign-Employed Nepalis

Kathmandu — Yambaling Hydropower Limited has completed the allotment of shares issued to Nepali citizens working abroad under its Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company allotted a total of 210,000 units of shares to 21,000 applicants on Chaitra 18, 2082.The company had allocated 10 percent of its total public issue—equivalent to 210,000 units—for Nepalis in foreign employment out of 2.1 million shares issued at a face value of Rs 100. The shares were open for application from Chaitra 8 to Chaitra 11.According to the company, the allotment was carried out in line with the Securities Issuance and Allotment Guidelines, 2017, distributing shares on a proportional basis among eligible applicants. The IPO results can be accessed through the website of the issue manager, Muktinath Capital Limited, as well as the CDSC-operated Meroshare platform.Applicants who did not receive shares will have their blocked amounts released through their respective banks and financial institutions. The company has also expressed gratitude to investors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies for their support in the issuance process.Yambaling Hydropower is now expected to proceed with the next phase of its IPO for the general public.
